If you talk about the debt, you pretty much have to go into the federal reserve system, the bankers, woodrow wilson, printing money, inflation

Other wise you should get an f. But a good topic to fill up a long essay

you could do this. and then throw the curve-ball, that when one company has a monopoly taht every other company now as access  to a virtually limitless market. 

you could also talk about the fact that the government actually sets up and keeps monopolies in place.
