Replying to I have given up on Rodeos, unless you can help?
After seven years of trying to get my body to rotate on a sideways axis, I have come to terms with the fact that I cannot do it. Two major problems : learned underflips first long ago so when I try to actually "rotate" the trick to land switch, I look down not up and underflip/ cork it, and the second problem is that I have tried so many times, my body has repeated the same exact motions.
However.......when i was at Woodward I mastered a rodeo 5 perfectly, that is my only hope, but for some godam reason I cannot get myself to "look up" and over when it comes to doing it on snow. I have tried : dropping my right shoulder hard, throwing my right shoulder forward, and just doin normal lincolns, but for the life of me I cannot get the motion on snow.....i am pretty sure its just mental block I will have to live with.....anyone share a similar story? Should I move on and just work on stomping underflips or just don't give up and learn this shit?
