Replying to Ski the East store problems
Hi!
During the Christmas vacation I came across the Skitheeast.net site
after hearing about it from my cousin who said it was pretty good. So
on the 7th of January I placed an order for a few items (a couple of ec
hats, non-tall tee etc.) but now 2 months later I still haven't recieved my
order and I am beginning to worry. I avoided items which said they were
out of stock.
I recieved a rather vague update on my order at the end of January
saying that some of the items (the mail did not state which specific
items) were on backorder, and would be in stock again "in a week or
so".
I wrote a reply to this mail stating that I wasn't picky about colors
as I had chosen rather randomly, and if they had the same models in
different colors I would be willing to accept those if this would solve
the logistics problem. However I never recieved a reply to this email,
so I wait a bit and write another one a couple of weeks later asking
the same thing and what's going on. I have not recieved a reply to that
mail either. :(
My main reason for concern is that a day after my order was placed the
money was withdrawn from my account, and I don't like paying for stuff
and then don't get to know what's going on. My unanswered mails are also a concern. I live in Norway, but it
shouldn't take several months to get a few of items across the Atlantic.
My reasons for posting here is maybe to find someone affiliated with
skitheeast who can elaborate on this, I'd rather not sign up to
skitheeast just to make a thread with a store problem (if no one knows
anything here I'll do this). Calling I consider a last resort as
transatlantic calls are not exactly cheap.
Sorry for the wall of text, if you didn't bother reading it my main question is this:
Is skitheeast having logistics issues or being slow with items for a reason, and should I be concerned? Any help is appreciated.
