Deal of a lifetime

so monday I was searching ebay for some new skis and i came acrosse some brand new 2008 pipe cleaners for $150, I was skeptical at first, but then i said what the hell worst case scenario i file a paypal claim. here is the listing

now i am super stoked for what i consider to be the deal of a lifetime.
but sadly i am faced with a dilemma, where do i mount them? I currently have center mounted fujatives and i love the way they ski, but where do you pipe cleaner owners have yours mounted? thanks

I would say -2. that seems to be the sweet spot for ar6/pipes

i set my boots at the -2.5 recommended spot, and i must say they do look they would ski damn nice at that point, but i had my fujatives at -2 and had some problems with rails so i got them remounted at center and ive been good ever since, i dont want to screw up now and have to remount

Do -2.5.  Armada actually thinks out their mounting spots.  They ski switch amazingly there.

Definitely not center if you do 50% all-mountain! How long are they? If they're 181 cm, go -2.5. If shorter, go -1.5.

they have never been mounted
^they are 176 so i am starting to think -1.5 is a good idea, but they have no center line on the ski, just a -2.5 and -5

The skis aren't symmetrical, so if you mount center you would mess up the flex pattern. I would go -2.5 if you ski 50/50.

yea i agree with all these dudes, nothing behind -2.5, i ski non semetrical twins at -2 and they carve great, and rip park

i like 1.5. it will still shred all mtn because of the flex pattern and will kill it harder in park

mount at -2.5. everything is worked around recommended

As for mounting, I would think center mounted or just a bit behind like -1

so i just got back from skiing them. I have skied prophets, ar6's, suspect's, fujatives, troublemakers, addicts, and walls and these skis are by far the fastest and have the most pop. These feel like I was skiing a center mounted race ski, even though i mounted them -2.5 they still feel like they are center mounted. These are by far the best twin tip ski I have ever skied and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a park ski. Thanks for all the help guys

It doesn't matter, it's just the graphic. I'd try and swap the back and forth every now and then so the edges wear evenly.

Look at the mounting points and line them up, that's the way the graphics go.

I mounted my Pipecleaners as a park ski at -2.5.  I use them only for park and groomers since I have other skis for variable terrain and conditions.  I would say definitely put them at -2.5 because you can remount at -1.5 later if you need to.

Example:  I've had mine for a season and they are in outstanding shape, but I finally managed to break off some of the brakes on my bindings (3 years old, they've had enough!).  I might need to remount if I replace brakes or the bindings, so I would rather go forward than back.
