The hype with gameboys now

in the B/S/T threads thier is a bunch of hype about gameboys now thanks to IAN PASCAL COMPTON. i just wanna know how many of nsers actually play gameboy and how many actually have a gameboy. and what are your thoughts about this hype?

its probably nostalgia and how everyone remembers how good shit was like 10 years ago without having to worry about everything.
That and simplicity is fuckin dope.

It may not be Gameboy. But I just downloaded a N64 emulator for my computer.. and whenever I have nothing to do, I play GoldenEye 007, or Hydro Thunder. haha! It's crazy how much games has evolved.

I have the ORIGINAL gameboy. the big ass thing. (of course with no battery door to it. haha)  Also a clear gameboy color.

im sure its still all the fuck about METROID 2  fuckin hard game... still play it on my sliver pocket... and blue pokemon pretty fun. and i have all three star wars games.. and POWER RANGERS. WOOO  any donky kong... i still have the 4 way spliter for yosi cookie

Most under-rated game for the gameboy advance, Mario Tennis. Omg that game is so freakin great.

But pokemon will always be the best gameboy game ever.

I get into moods when I want to play, and they usually last for about a week or two.  Haven't sparked an urge for a while, plus mine is not at school with me.  I have lot of good games too.  Pokemon yellow is obviously the best that I have.

at the beginning of the winter i found my gameboy advance with pokemon fire red in it and i play that whenever i'm not driving but in a car for an extended period of time. so dope.

one of my friends recently bought one and he let me play it, its bringin back so many memories. i used to have a purple clearish looking one, wish i wouldnt have sold it. im definately going to buy one soon.

I don't really think the spirit of the Gameboy has left since the nineties..  It just got drowned out by all the new systems. Simplicity is best to me.
