CANADA vs usa in finals

well it looks like its going to happen at 3-0 CANADA at the end of the third.

i just wanna hear some predictions on this game (and remember for Canada Luongo is in net not Brodure)

its only the end of the 2nd but i dont really see slovakia coming back.


sunday will be good. im not sure what to expect. i thought canada would win last sunday.
i know canadians will say im crazy but id have marty in goal again although its 100% louango will play.

Look at their jerseys. IF Canada were to lose Sunday Luo would still be in Vancouver for NHL games while Marty gets to run back to Jersey.

he means that if one of them fucks up and they lose, he'll be able to get far away from people in vancouver who went and saw the game, whereas the other will be stuck in the same city, and will probably be harassed at his games.

USA should win, i want them too. but both teams have a really good goalie. i think canada relized they needed to pick it up in the 1st game they faced each other. so i think itll be a better game this time. but GO USA

Wow, Slovakia played like champs.  At 10 seconds I thought they had a goal...wow.  I'm glad we get to play Canada though as it will be a much more meaningful game.

Hope it's another good game on Sunday, but Canada played pretty poorly in the 3rd today.  If they play like that against us this time it's gonna be 5-0 instead of 5-3.

here's my 10 cents, the US has a much younger team, less experienced certainly, more energy most definitely. Canada has been playing an extremely physical, finishing checks and the like, the only issue with this is that when you play extremely physically, you take yourself out of the play as well. Teams that play in this manner typically have about a .500 record. i hope for canada's sake that marty is not in the net as team usa made a mockery of him last week. and canada seems to have an issue getting the pack past miller who has been playing spectacularly. I'm pretty curious to see how the medal round turns out. Does team USA have the momentum to pull off gold and beat Canada a second time? Or will Canada's goalies get their act together and shut down the US?

yeah because luongo definitely played bad tonight and the last game as well... while brodeur played really well... are you retarded? how about lets give away a few more rebounds. batting it out of the air like he was going for a homerun? the guy was asking to get his ass booted out of the game, i dont care who you are, you sit on pucks when they come to you, not keep dishing them right back out as quick as they came in which he did on many occasions. luongo deserves his spot, the second goal of the evening was only due to two stupid canadians who decided to retaliate and in turn a man was left unattended. im not sure if you guys saw the fire that the canadians played against russia with, but they will bring that and more to USA no doubt about it. keep thinking your young team is going to win because of energy, itll really pay off for you.

Should be epic. Young guys of the U.S. v. the Big names of Canada who are going to be playing with a giant chip on their shoulder. This is going to be a battle of epic proportions for sure... at least I hope. A blowout regardless of the outcome would be a huge disappointment for the viewers.

yeah canada look great against russia.

but slovakia last night was one pavol demitra finish away from tying the game in the last minute. i really dont understand how you kids think they are just gonna go out there and demolish the united states. could the win the game? sure the could. will they? we will have to see.

and i would not say loungo played lights out last night. the united states have the best goalie in the tournement and if miller plays like he has all tourney tommorow i think you kids could be up for a rude awakening.

this game really should be neck and neck. and it really is anyones game. we will just have to see who steps up.
