In Burlington, I had 10" in my yard, real wet PNW type snow. I bet at elevation it is a lot better. The freezing line is going to raise up to 800ft today which will limit the snowfall here in town, but the mountains should stay with accumulation. IMHO, it's not exactly powder, but it will make for a great base and some fun on Rockered skis. I am worried about the next storm coming up the coast for Thurs-> Sat could be really wet.

sucks Martin, you should come ski the woods at Platty this weekend.

Anyway the Catskills right now have about 19 inches and counting...in for another storm tomorrow into Friday. I'm so stoked its the first time weve been really dumped on this year.

just checked noaa and got pissed. rain is supposed to come in tomorrow and the next day, then change back to snow... fuck you, weather. snow storms should not suddenly become rain.

ive spent the past couple of years complaining about how we never get much snow in southern NY.

and now that we do get snow...no one is willing to drive in it to our closest mountain(1 hour for a crappy mountain and 2 hours to a halfway decent mountain)

yeah its mad nice to have the snow, but by the time i get to it, its hard pack anyways :/

UVM has been getting dumped on!! God I wish I could get those rockered skis sooner. Snow is super wet so it might be tough blasting through but still a ton of fun. Can't wait to get to stowe tommorrow!!

P.S. PHIL I NEED SOME OF THOSE SURFACES!!

It's snowing other places, it's not in central NJ. Of course. My teachers keep thinking we're gonna have a snow day. The principal made some announcement about how some event may be canceled tomorrow if we don't have school.

If anything we're getting more rain, I'm going to hunter on saturday though. Did or are they gonna get snow there?

there is powder EVERYWHERE! but no way for me to get anywhere...no one wants to drive anywhere in heavy snow and its all going to get skied off...FUCK ME!
