Skiing used to be a pure sport filled with adrenaline and excitement. With all of the new technologies and equipment skiiing is no longer the same, it is too easy and not how it was meant to be. Skiing of the future is only going to get worse and the skiing of now is nothing compared to what it used to be.

       First of all, your definition of real is quite wrong. When I go skiing, I can feel the cold of the air, and when i fall it hurts. That seems pretty real to me. Saying that new technology can make it so something isnt real is just a stupid statement. Do you have a microwave? If so, eating is no longer real for you. It makes having hot food far too easy. You have to go outside and gather wood and light a fire in order for it to be real eating.
         Also, you really went downhill when you started talking about how good you are. You posted a picture of Everest which could have been found by any idiot who can use google. You posted a video taken off of youtube from someone who is from a different country than you. Lastly you posted a drawing of Everest which could have been drawn by a blind 5 year old.
         And before you attack my skiing ability, I suck, and I realize that. I dont go around employing children with vision impairments to fabricate lies for me. By the way, this is my first post so hello to everyone. I was going to start with a more productive thread, but this one is like a car accident. I cant look away

If modern technology (specifically on powder skis as you stated) is ruining skis then why would the sport of progressed that way?

And it is all personal preference. So many companys still make reg camber skinny pow skis. But now you have an option for all kinds of shapes widths and sizes.

Stop being a lil bitch. I am still as stoked on skiing now as I have been since I can remember, If not more now.

And being "sponsored" means nothing. There are tons of legit skiers that aren't sponsored who could out ski you no worries.
