Skiing used to be a pure sport filled with adrenaline and excitement. With all of the new technologies and equipment skiiing is no longer the same, it is too easy and not how it was meant to be. Skiing of the future is only going to get worse and the skiing of now is nothing compared to what it used to be.

seriously chill out buddy people can ski on whatever they want. as long as they are havin fun then you dont need to interfere. sure skis have gotten fatter and they are eaisier to ski but they have also opened up a whole new level of the tricks that are possible in backcountry surroundings just accept other peoples opinions and agree to disagree

I'm fucking sick and tired of people saying that skiing is about fun. Do you think pros have fun when they are training so they can win comps and put food on the table to support their baby momma?  Fuck fun its all about the Cash serious people need to eating and eating is not always fun

I have never once said that skiing cannot be fun. Skiing is far less challenging nowadays and the equipment is working more for the athletes than the athletes are. People can no longer ski bumps and powder. Plake wouls slay bumps and powder on his skiiny as shit skis. McConkey and seth slayed with skinny skis harder than anyone slays now. Powder skis make skiing too easy.

Also skiing is not fun for pros such as the lieks as me and Wallisch because we have to trian and put food on our table livings this lifestyel. No one can have fun in their job and its the same with skiing.

but the thing is, those guys who ur talking about are innovators of this sport that all of us (minus you) love and enjoy.  McConkey was skiing on skinny skis when he had to, but i have plenty of movies with him skiing some nice fat pow skis!
and u have already been proven wrong about pros not having fun by the above quotes from Tanner Hall and from Wallisch....

seriously your just gettin rediculous every pro that get interviewed at a competition will always comment on how much fun they had just hanging out and shredin with thier friends wether they podiumed or not and also i would like you to post a link or a picture to prove to me that affiliated skis exist i cant find anything
