Skiing used to be a pure sport filled with adrenaline and excitement. With all of the new technologies and equipment skiiing is no longer the same, it is too easy and not how it was meant to be. Skiing of the future is only going to get worse and the skiing of now is nothing compared to what it used to be.

oh yeh cus those 70mm powder skis are so fucking fun the best part is when you fall over every two seconds, false they suck i have used them, if this is your opinion then get the fuck off NEWschoolers dumb fuck, the new powder skis are fatter so they allow you to get to better places with less difficulty so you can do more stuff on say a big booter without falling over in the fucking run in. fucking old man

dude your blinded by nostalgia, sure it was less safe back then wich i could say is exciting i guess, but pow skis are making it so much more fun to ski powder.

we havnt forgotten about where we came from, i mean if it werent for you dinosaurs we wouldnt be here today and this site wouldnt exsist.

skiing has evolved in away were its appealing to a wider audience of people who can come together at the end of the day with a smile knowing that their having a great time with friends. like isnt that what its about?

sides technolodgy has made skiers able to go bigger than ever before, explore more terrain, find more virgin zones, get in the park with friends and shred hard.

I don't think any company would like to support a dick with a bad attitude that doesn't even think that skiing is fun. Skill isn't the only thing that sponsors look for.You probably suck too. Honestly man you need to get off our high horse and just hit the mountain and rediscover what skiing means to you. Sure skiing hasn't gotten easier, it's evolved, but that happens in every sport. Look, it happens in every sport look at wide receiver gloves in football, composite sticks in hockey it happens in every sport with progressing technology. In skiing new technology allows you to take your sport to new frontiers an they let you push and test your limits. As for your self you can ski however you like. If you enjoy skiing more on straight planks then have at it no one will stop you. If you think people on newer technologies are wrecking what the sport means to you then you don't belong on the slopes you belong on a couch watching skiing on television...
