Ridiculous

Anyone else besides me and theDave have subaru's to make ski season easier and more fun?

here is mine:

1999 legacy gt wagon

JDM 5 Speed w/ rear LSD 4.11

2.5 w/ raptor supercharger kit from AUS

Sti struts w/wrx wagon springs

jdm headlights/fogs both retrofitted.

borla headers.

Stromung HFC

Stromung Catback

20% tint rear sides/rear window 35% front sides

17" prodrive P1's with Dunlop PL-1 Snow tires

Among other upgrades.

what does everyone else drive?

I got a '98 Subaru Legacy Brighton.

5 speed,
bought it over the summer with 160 000km, got it at around 180 now.
it's green.
manual locks, windows, no sunroof, no roof racks.
right now the ignition is fucked so you can start it with a screw driver (shhh, don't tell anyone)

I love my subaru.

ive got a 2002 outback and my dad (who's the other ski enthusiast in the family) has a 2010 legacy which is so much fun to drive.

I've had 4. had 2 at once last year. now I only have the STI for an AWD vehicle:

First subaru^

^^second subaru (swapped to 5 spd, was the only 2.2T TW I have ever seen)

(yes, that is a magnusson blower on my XT9)

^^my third subaru and former rallyX racer. i still drive her, but I sold her to a friend

Mine, not quite as pink/red in real life.

Took it out during the "blizzard" in NJ, route 18 was pretty bad but as you went north there was nothing.

She had about 307,000 miles when I retired her. Original engine and all. Miss her dearly.

2000 forester+roof box+winter tires+air mattress in the back = rollin ski condo

Takes a lot of work, seriously never going to replace a subaru clutch again. Also have a nice sound system in it.

oh yeah and my outback has the winter package.. love that car ..only thing that sucks when i have my rocket box on top of it.. the rear hatch does not open all the way.. but thats the only neg.

free flowing exhaust is very important with gains on turbo'ed cars. replacing the stock exhaust with a 3inch turbo back removes 2 cat's on that car and frees up like 20whp. and the sound of the boxer engine with that kinda exhaust is amazing. and they don't make a direct bolt on exhaust for that car so he more than likely took something from a wrx and made it work, nothing wrong with that. cool car!
