Replying to I just saw a plane crash

I was driving to pick up my skis from the shop, and my dad, who was in the passenger seat, saw something flaming falling from the sky. It had a parachute attached to it so we thought it was a smoke jump gone wrong or something like that, but i guess it was a plane.
