Weird/Embarassing Habits?

yeah me too man I cant stand having the volume at like 27 or sumthing it has to be in multiples of 5
I also always always always chew Green Stride gum, its weird and I think I'm afraid of having bad breath...

i do all sorts of weird things without realizing. when eating something small (M&Ms, rockets, etc.) I always sort them out by twos.

it drives me nuts when my desk isnt aligned with the others

I have a mild case of OCD, so there are lots of little things that tweak me out. Walk into my room.... it's so organized and everything lines up so straight it's scary.

Same steps in a cement square, bite my lip, crack knuckles. When I had my afro I'd feel it a lot. And whenever anything like a pen or fork is pointed right at my eyes, like even if it's on tv, I squint and get anxious, like it's going to stab me.

when im skiing fast i shout/swear/sing/talk to myself/ and make sound effects.

I'm the worst at this. I've gotten better.

But if I'm playing video games (friends can attest) if something catches the corner of my eye i need to look in the same opposite side away from the TV then the opposite diagonal side.. then the 4th side to complete it. Then do the same thing with the controller over my head. I know, it's fucked up, I've gotten better.

I also have shower rituals.. and when I'm driving I always close my teeth when we drive over shadows and lift my teeth up when we're not in them. It's sorta like a game, where when you're driving over the dark shadows its a home base where you refuel your ship and use your energy reserves to go over long boughts without objects big enough to cast their shadow.

I also have to do everything left right right left right left left right. or right left left right left right right left.

Blinking sucks. itching sucks. OH GOD

dragging one foot. I have to drag the other foot. then the other foot again. then the original foot. and i try to play it off like its normal, but then sometimes i miss the foot drag. so then i have to "narrowly miss" a foot drag with my other foot. then again. then the original.


I haven't told a soul about many of these. But these are somewhat in my past. I beat OCD!

when i'm in a car, not driving, i always imagine there is this little dude jumping on all the oncoming cars. On normal cars he just jumps on to the next one. For semis he gets more air so he can skip 2 normal cars and land on the 3rd one. For motorcycles, he's too heavy so he crushes them. Then he has to roll/run into the next car.

I know its weird, but i can't help it.

i have a little guy that jumps from rooftop to rooftop of houses i pass. or treetops or telephone wires or whatthefuckever




i cant hear it myself, but all my friends tell me that when i am just sitting somewhere i naturally make humming noises, i think my throat or voice box or something just makes the noise when i breath in or out, because even when i try not to do it people say they can still hear it.

know whats weird about me?
I am extremely organized and clean.
but im also so lazy that when things get out of order, i dont reorganize it or anything.

So like my room. clothes kinda ended up in organnized piles on my floor rather than in drawers, and overtime (like years) i have just decided to leave them there. so like im organized, but to my own standards...

When im bored, like in class or something, i either braid tiny parts of my hair or i find a little split ends and try to separate the two pieces. then i get a hair cut, and get angry that i can't find any split ends.
When i was younger, i used to try to get up to my room counting down from ten and try to be in my bed by 0.... i also raced myself mentally all the time like going into the basement i counted down from ten. haha i was wierd

i dont have any of those iching ones, but the biggest one i have is before i go to bed i take my dog out, and while he is pissin' i take one two but i have to piss in the same spot every time or else i dont get any sleep.. it's fucked up i  know

I bit my lips and inside of my cheeks all the time, especially since I got in a car crash a while ago. I cross my toes when I read.

when i sit down i curl my toes under my foot, everyone on my mom's side of the family does this too, its wierd.

what happens to you guys with ocd when something closes wierd and you cant change it?.

I do the same thing. Once i pile my clothes up i leave them there and to me they seem organized.

I also check and make sure everything is unplugged in my house before i leave it, specially my hair straightener. I don't just check once though, i check numerous times just to be sure.

i think of really weird shit when im the passenger in a car. whenever there are trees making shade lines on the road i pretend im skiing or biking and that i jump over those lines and to the next sunny patch of the road or when its winter i look and ditches and picture myself skiing and jumping every time it comes to an entrance. its fucked up and ive been doin it for a long time but i just cant stop.

i do this every single time i get in a car, and i also do it with driveways and most of all the stripes of paint in the middle of the road. if there arent the right amoun of stripes i feel so anxious.

When I am driving and there is a shadow of say, a tree in the road, I try to make the shadow to light ratio that each wheel goes over the same. so like if there is a tree or house or building or other cars parked on the side of the road, I am all over the place trying to get the other side of the wheels to go over the same amount of shadow. I do the same thing with puddles too. and walking on the sidewalk.

I do the volume thing, but just with evens.

I also do the foot drag thing. or muscle twitching. or biting my lips/tongue. or tapping fingers or toes or whatever. like if my foot drags on the floor I have to do it twice with the other side and then once with the first side. Or if I flex my calf or quad or whatever I do that again to make it symmetrical. It goes left right right left right left left right and I do that a couple times until it feels even.

Then walking on sidewalks or tiles, if I step on a crack with one foot, I have to step on a crack in the same way with the other foot, then do it again in reverse, then do all that again in reverse. like that ^ stuff. same with different color tiles and rugs or whatever.

There's a lot more stuff I cant think of right now. yes I have OCD.
