AvcHD encoder

Alrighty, well i am trying to locate a program that can take my AvcHD files and convert them to mpg2. I have googled it and nothing there is any good so if anyone has one/can recommend one for me that would be super awesome. thanks a ton!!

If you have final cut then you shouldnt have a problem.

Buy an intel q8400 core 2 quad processor. Serously i spent countless hours of my time trying to figure out how to effeciently manage my workflow with avcHD.  Converting just takes to long(a 10 second clip takes on average about 2 minutes to convert) and eat disk space like no other.  mpeg2 format of simular quality will effectivly be twice as large.  With my new cpu i can seamlessly watch and edit 24 mb rate avcHD footage in real time.

If your trying to do avcHD on a laptop, then my advice would be to give up or invest 600 and build a desktop.

Here's a set up that could easily handle you avcHD (Quite a bit faster than mine actually)

I THINK i'm transforming my desktop comp into my editing comp. hahaha. It's got WAY too much potential but so much key part. Let's see what my dad thinks about this idea.

i've been trying to get fcp 6.0.5 but i only have 5.0 which was before the time of avcHD =(

if you can torrent me 6.0.5 be my guest hahaha i've been searchin but nothin so far
