Bindings for watch lifes

I am going to go with griffons or fks 120 for my 182 watch lifes.  I am 6 foot 180 lbs and will be using them out west as an all purpose ski for the time being.  Any input on which of these i should go with??  I found both for a good price.  I have FKS 155's on my chronics and love them, but hear great things about griffons.

Anyways the reason im wondering about griffons is because i can get wide brakes so i wont have to dis-assemble and bend brakes, and correct me if im wrong but i think griffon brake piece you can take off without un-mounting the binding if it breaks, unlike the fks.

Any and all advice and input would be appreciated.  I need to place the order for these bindings tonight to be able to get them by my trip, so please help me out

i think you can bump it up to jesters and you can't go wrong with jesters or fks.  and dismantling fks isn't hard.   there is a lot of literature on bending the brakes out there. if you have a vice at home than you're golden.

i have some fks on mine and they work great...i think any good binding will do the trick great ski love them so much

I'm not sure how strapped you are for cash, but if you've got a little wiggle room, Rossi and Look did bring the FKS and Pivot back this year with a wide brake up to 115mm, I do believe. Also, the baseplate is metal (if I'm not mistaken), so if you need to bend them out a bit, that's nothing a ski pole and a strong arm can't fix. (If I'm wrong though, then any bends that need to be done will have to be done the old way). Also, the B/S/T thread and the TGR forums often have people selling FKS that they have already bent to fit their fat skis. Not sure how much that helped, but just some suggestions.

salomon sth 14 i have a them on a pair of my skis you cannot go wrong with them. since salomon brought back the old toe piece they are so durable and light weight its awesome
