I bought plane tickets to colorado

How do I convince my friend that it is worth it to drive down to wolf creek from denver for a day because it is the best place in colorado?

why is wolf creek the best place in colorado? i cant agree with you at all on that one.

Because the only reason we are going out west is to ski powder, wolf creek has the most and lightest snow, and it doesnt get tracked out easily.  We have no intentions to ski park and mogul covered resorts.

Wolf Creek is for sure one of the best places in the state when there is good snow. I'd say probably up to 6 or 7 days after a storm it's still fun. That's way better than can be said about pretty much any other resort anywhere. Look at my profile and check out some of the shots from Wolf Creek. That should get your buddy sold on the place.

If the only reason you're going out west is for powder why did you choose CO? 

Utah, Mammoth, PNW, or anywhere would've been a better option.

The reason we are going to colorado is because we have a place to stay for free in denver.  Ive been out there multiple times before, and I can say that I have had by far the most fun at wolf creek.  They hadnt gotten snow in a week also when i went and it was still sick.

go to silverton instead. wolfy has good snow but if you want untracked stuff and a little more gnar terrain splurge and go to silverton.

is that the place thats basically lift accessed BC? you get a guide and go up and theres like 20 people on the whole mountain
