Canon F-1

My dad just gave me his Canon F-1 from the 1976 olympics in Montreal.

It's so sick. One of the coolest cameras i have ever seen and i'm super stoked to start using it and try to increase my photography skills a touch. I will be using b/w film for the most part.

It has the  "Montreal 1976" logo stamped into it.

Dude you're so lucky, f1s are beastly. Fd lenses are rather cheap compared to eos and numerous, so getting a few lenses is easy. They're still good glass though. I'm shooting with a t90, more tech but not as solid as that camera imo.

Yeah, i sorta feel like a poser, as i know not a lot about cameras and such. I'm using it mostly for my high school  photo 2 class, but i definately want to become a much better photographer now.

that's sweet, I have my grandpas Nikon F3 with a few lenses and a flash. It's fun to shoot film, hope this picture works

F1 is legit for sure. there are some nice Fd lenses. Main thing that isn't as nice (IMO) is the autofocus. Canon's new USM focus lenses are really nice.

I don't even use autofocus cameras though :P
