Shifty in a flip

Has anyone done a shifty in a back/frontflip? i.e. a shifty while upside down during the flip? I think it would be pretty ill.

id say thats about impossible... a shifty is when you shift your body during a SPIN to make it look as if you have stoped spinning when in fact you just decieving the spectators making a trick look prerty dam dope.
the closest thing possible to a shift front would be a superman front since it APPEARS your not going to flip but infact you do, and for backies i would say just a lay out...

yeah its fun but easy to turn into a flair. easiest one to do is in a rodeo 5. looks so dope in a rodeo 7 too like shifty it at 3 and wrap to 7.

i have done them on tramp, but on skis, it would be pretty sick though, kinda weird though

Yeah, that's called a twister.  Shifty is when you're spinning and your body rotates but you leave your skis behind.  If you did it in a front or back flip it wouldn't be a shifty.  One of the guys I ski with did a credit card back flip and realized he was going to dig his tips in.  Somehow he had the awareness to throw his skis into a twister.  That saved him and he actually skied it out.  It was pretty sick.

you could probably start the flip semi-tucked (ie rigid body), then when upside down, keep your head and shoulders rotating while you keep your skis upside down momentarily before whipping them back around. would be very very difficult and sketch though.
