Boots getting stiffer when colder?

So i was wondering if boots get stiffer when its cold?
I have fulltilt hot doggers and they fit great and i have been shin bang free for like 15 days but its bin realy freaking cold in norway for a while and yesterday my boots gave me really bad shinbang is it cause its cold and they get stiff?

well i know that theyre fucking hard to put on when theyre cold. thats why i always pack my boots last

boots do get stiffer when cold but its not the reason you have shin bang..
you get shin bang from riding/landing in the back seat just keep your weight forward and youll be fine.

well i did land backseat pretty bad that day once but my fulltilts have saved me before but i noticed they where really stiff that day thats what i was wondering thanks for the help!

haha i do actually now that but my boots where really uncomfortable and stiff that day and thats what i was wondering i know you get shinbang from landing backseat
