Fuckin SoCal. However, I feel for this guy.

It's like putting an article in Ski Magazine that says: "Check out the ultra rad A51 park at Keystone, Colorado. No liftlines, and the jumps under the chairlift are great for learning with your children, or just watching the older guys do twirly doops,"

twsnow sold out soo long ago, fuck them. There the reason why snowboarders get a bad name,  they tell every gaper to hate on skiing and make it seem like theres a war going on between skiers and snowboarders. As a snowboarder im ashamed, to see that magizine on the shelves.

haha pretty much. Good snowboarders are cool but their general populace just sucks at the sport. At least at my hill most skiers in the park with their own gear and cool threads(sessions, orage, whatever) can at least ride park(do 3s slide rails ect.). The majority of snowboarders with brand new burton boards and decked out in the latest matching 2 piece suit can't even understand that the jump going up the rail is exclusively for the rail and maybe the occasional 2 foot high front flip.
I definitely see where the guy is coming from. I would be pissed if I had a sick little hill like june and then it was getting all hyped up by a terrible magazine. BUT at the same time it can't hurt june mountain to get more bidness.

guy was hilarious! and im glad to see that he cares so much.... i mean its true that the magazine is supposed to write about resorts, its part of their job. BUT, it is also this guys job to call them cooks and protect his future fun on his mountain..... and entertain us on the intereneter

I can totally understand where he's coming from. That's his local mountain. He doesn't want to have to deal with crowds of gapers blocking everything in the park,  messing up takeoffs.

Transworld in general has been going downhill i think for a while. It's not the same thing it used to be.

Agreed.

The OLD Northstar was sooo sick. The Northstar from the older movies. Then Transworld blew the shit up. I buy my pass there though, the park is still soooo sick. Lots of big name companies have made features for us (DC stair set, DC shoe box, Red Bull box, Oakley box...). It has it's pros and cons.

HAHaHAHAHA, i can still here that voice.... MEGAMOOOOOOOO they said it like 800 times in the little bit of xgames i actually watched this year.

At least there some little kiddies getting into the sport that are starting to throw down really hard, and are going to help progress the sport. I just can't take all the noobs that now think snowboarding and skiing are supercool and they should try to get involved to be like shaun white or something. Where all the best outerwear, have the sickest board settup, not even be able to hit a flat box

This guy is going off on the staff of transworld, calling them kooks and the writer a little whore for exposing June mountain as having a sick ass park and no lift lines.

He's right, that sucks for the riders at June. Sounds like they had their own little slice of skiing heaven and now everybody who reads Transworld is going to want to be there.
