Ye well, it isn't super hard. Do you have the fancy shamncy GUI editor thing on? If you do turn it off in your settings and then you can just copy and paste the embed code from youtube. Should be able to change your settings under your profile someplace, can't really remember where.

I'd like to congradulate you, sir. Since the beginning of June, you have racked up over 600 posts.

Last I checked, while 600 posts and 7 months does not make you one of NS's original elite, it hardly qualifies as "new". You should at least have been able to figure out how to post- it's not like you haven't had practice. At least put a little effort into it- I know I haven't been around here for terribly much longer than yourself, but if I'm going to make a thread about an asian kicking a dude in the face, I'm going to do a few things: embed the video, and come up with a clever caption. Your thread's title would have qualified... almost. This video would have done much better in they YLYL thread...

But enough hate. As Mr.Panda said, you get rid of the fancy gui editor.

To do this, click on "manage my NS" in the little window in the upper left, scroll down to the seventh window from the top, and click "No".

You will find that you can do no more than type simple text- or so it seems.

Make links by putting "< a >" before the url of the website you want to link to, and "< / a >" after. (no spaces, they're only there so it shows up)

Bold is the same with a "b" instead of "a", and italics have an "i". I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

Posting images is simple- [ I m g ] URL of the picture [ / I m g] (again, no spaces)

Videos are the easiest- go to youtube, find the embed link, and post it. Simple as pie.
