So I'm making this to get help so my phones decide not to break on me anymore. I have yet to figure out the best place to put my phone while I'm riding. I've tried my jacket pocket, my pants pocket, shorts under-neith the snow pants and my phone just seems to not work after. It has held up so far this year but once again it broke on me. It gets wet or something and just starts flipping out. Any suggestions, I was thinking about a plastic baggy? Not totally sure but could use some help.Thanks.
Do you HAVE to have you phone on you at all times? If not, I'd go with a locker or your car?
If you do, a pocket down near your stomach, so there's a bit of cushioning compared to your sternum/ribs. Maybe look into a padded rubber case for skiing.
Wouldn't that get massive shock/concussive force damage? Yeah but chest pocket ftw. Unless you get racked on a rail or wrapped around a tree it'll be fine.
ipod clipped to my helmet strap, and i don't ski with a phone. if i have to, i keep it in a chest pocket. if you are on a carrier that uses sim cards, you can buy a cheap phone for just skiing and pop the sim card in that when you ski, so you don't have to worry about breaking your blackberry or iphone or whatever
