As soon as I am done skiing I will post some interesting JOSS info…
-Team Sweden
-Team Norway
-Team Europe
Lets start with Team Norway as that is the easiest team!
Norway.
Pretty super simple, when you have the two top guys in the same country who also won last year its pretty easy!
Andreas Håtveit
PK Hunder
+Rookie (A
video qual will be taken place at Friflyt.no where skiers can send in a
video, the best one will join the team and travel to JOSS.) More info
on this soon here in the blog!
Sweden.
I thought long and hard about this, in the end I decided to give room for the young Swedish skiers and put myself on a different side of the event. I will still be skiing just as hard and compete in JOI. But this gives me more time to be a host and create a more unique angle on my movie segment to give you a different view on JOSS. When I made this decision it was super tough for me, but the more I have thought about it, the better I feel about it, have so many ideas on how to create a very entertaining segment!
Henrik Harlaut
Oscar Scherlin
+Rookie (A
video qual will be taken place at Freeride.se where skiers can send in
a video, the best one will join the team and travel to JOSS.) More info
on this soon here in the blog!
Europe.
This is the hardest team to put together as there is so many good skiers out there, in the end I decided that i should not be the one to judge who is better then the other. So I thought that letting this falls Big Air events decied who should go would be a more fair system. I am glad to see who came out on top on this. I think Elias and jacob will create a great team!
Elias Ambuhl
Jacob Wester
+ Rookie (A
video qual will be taken place at Downdays.eu where skiers can send in
a video and the best one will join the team and travel to JOSS.) More
info on this soon here in the blog!
I have read all threads and comments on JOSS and I know that a lot
of people think that I should add more teams. I would love to do this
but it just does not work to have more skiers, we are already pushing
it.
8 teams with 3 skiers in each is 24 guys. Transporting all these guys
to the locations and the shuttleing them up and down is a hand full as
it is. Hope you guys understand this!
Hope you like the selections, there will always be thoughts on things like this, but I have tried my very best to pick the best guys, adn I am very happy with the result!
***Rookie means that the skier can not have been o the X games before. (if they get invited to X this year they can still go to JOSS)
Time to go ski!

So there you gooooo! So Stoked to see Elias going !
seeing aleks aurdal or casabon would make be happy
YESS!
And Canada should be TJ, Chug and Leigh Powis(he really proved himself this year i think)
Teams
I saw that there was a bit of confusion as a few people thought that these three teams previously announced where the only teams at JOSS- Not True!
This is the complete list of teams at JOSS 2010.
1. Sweden
2. Norway
3. Europe
4. USA
5. Newschoolers
6. Canada
7. Down Under
8. Japan
Riders from each country will be announced as soon as the invited riders has confirmed.
Other countries
There was a lot of comments saying that a few nations where being favored and others not getting any skiers at all. When you have to limit the amount of people you invite this will always be a problem. I tried my best to give everyone a chance with the “qual system” to Team Europe, if they where that good, then they had the chance to qualify.''
