fuck this, i planned a trip to tahoe, then had to back out and was stoked anyway because it looked like they were gonna get no snow by the 17th, then i get an e-mail from a friend out there claiming 5-15 feet expected, now this thread...fuck

I'd say it was thigh deep, and I had a hard time finding steep enough terrain to avoid getting stuck. Still lots of rocks and foliage out there; I'm hoping the next storm will cover it up.
