Are there a lot of ski/snowboard commercials on TV out west?

This thought just popped into my mind, may be stupid but...

In places out west where everyone skis, like Aspen Colorado, Bozeman Montana, etc, are there ever commercials on TV for ski or snowboard companies? Or maybe not even that, just a lot of the commercials are related to skiing or snowboarding? Here in the east, I don't think I've ever seen a ski or snowboard company commercial except when the X Games are on. And I've only seen commercials for a couple ski mountains and ski shops.

ya no commercials for specific companies.  every once in a while ill see one for sniagrab or some other random shop having a sale but thats about all i can think of.

I wnet to whistler two weeks last year and the commercials are no different from the east unless you are watching like a local channel where there can be a bit more but not really just like in ontario local channels advertise hockey

Well that's Whistler. It's a resort built specifially so that people feel "at home." Thus, what do you expect? OP: At Schweitzer there's the Sandpoint Fun Guide/Ski Flakes. I'm pretty sure you can get it down in town too with the right cable provider (which is a local provider). So not so much commercials as shows. In Spokane we have endless ads for Silver Mountain Resort. That talking moose is annoying as fuck. Hilarious, but annoying. I've also seen ads for 49 Degrees North. No Schweitzer ads though, except on radio.

Much more likely to get a car dealership commercial that's giving away lift tickets and has a few pow/gaper shots. Sometimes the occasional resort commercial and outdoor stores have lots of commercials advertising ski/snowboard shit.

only time i have ever seen any is during the x games or dew tour.

sometimes there are ads for gas stations give away tickets or something like that but that doesn't really count.....
