no you're wrong, spong had the worst non fatal crash in recent memory. tanner broke his ankles, derek tore his aorta along with breaking many bones and messing up many other things. it took him over a year to recover while tanner was back competing the next season. and the physics behind them would concur, derek's body absorbed the impact going from like 70mph to 0 instantly into an ice wall. tanner while some of his of momentum was taken by his feet and ankles, he was able to tomahawk down the landing to reduce his velocity in a much longer space.

One of the kids that I coach was standing there when he did this.  He still has a piece of the guy's binding on his wall.  I don't know if I am disappointed or glad that someone didn't get this from below.  It just looks like the guy disintegrates.

brad was going for just a front. but as you can see he went a little too big haha. whats cool is that he now owns the jib yard which is amazing and he still skis :) every one should come ride at the jib yard.
