Filming in the snow

What is needed? I have some experience filming in the snow but now with a new camera i am more worried about it. Do i need something to cover the camera in big dump's? Where could i find something of that sort? Precipitation on the camera just sounds like bad news. I apologize if there has been a thread on this.
