I just wish government could go back to what it once was after this country was created minus slavery and women not being able to vote and stuff. Small federal govt with the rest of the powers resting on the states and city/county govts... no lobbyists, no direct election of senators, no income tax...the system the founding fathers developed was very smart.

you didn't detect the sarcasm in my post? i was posting this to spread the information more than my surprise. personally, i'm not surprised one bit, his cabinet is full of lobbyists, this is just another one to fit form.

how about a society of residents including Hank Reardon, John Galt. Hugh Axton, and Dagny Taggert. 

where the two legitimate functions of government would be the protection of property rights, and the right to life. none of this looting society in which we live today. everyone has their hand out looking for a free lunch. a bunch of rent seekers.

no income tax, the tax on productivity, lets take from the most productive and redistribute it to the least productive. (facepalm)

shit storm, ensue.
