No-fucking-way. But, I guess Iraq is peaceful now because the US believes it is, even though there are daily car bombings and killings. That doesn't count though, because W doesn't want it to.

yeah really iraq now is so much better off than it was before the war, even though a couple civilians died its nothing compared to what saddam couldve done in a year

although iraq is probably better than before, bush set out to rid iraq of weapons of mass destruction. None were found, so he changed his purpose of the war to liberating a country with an oppresive letter. Waging a war and then changing purposes isn't exactly honest or deserving of a peace award.

Although war can set up for future peace, a nonviolent war like Gandhi's would be much more honorable, and worth a consideration of the award

bush isn't the worst candidate for the nobel peace prize. he has made an ongoing effort to ridding the world of the terrorist element. he has mediated a situation in iraq and liberated its people from a totalitarian regime under which they were in constant danger. saddam hussein tested bio weapons on his own people, they were mass executed. it seems that taking him out of power would be a peaceful thing to do.
