why would nato deal with that? nato is the north atlantic treaty orgainization and their sole purpose is to protect north america and a few western european countries. the UN should do something but they propably wont

haha,yes SPAIN,not mexico.
It was pretty impressive what happened.Partly because most of the bodies were blowned up in pieces,and partly because that had never happened before.We were always fighting terrorism on the streets,protesting,but we had never actually suffered the consequences and the shock of such a big atrocity on our land.Yesterday 12 million of us went to the streets.Madrid and Barcelona were like an ocean of people.Relly impressive.

I am also sad about the horrible shit that happened in Madrid. It gets a little easier to understand how horrible the terrorist groups are once they come into your country and carry out thier pussy ass cocksucking plans. I hate them all.

iraq wasn't a sole US problem either atlantaski, so we shouldn't have gone in there anyways, but there are enough posts on the iraq anyways.

The things that's so hard about terrorism is that its not just in afgahnistan, its all over the world, and if we take care of it one place, it will spring up in another. Its one of the most difficult issues facing the world, in my opinion.

I don't think anyone would actually suggest that we ignore problems like terrorism. It seems like the job of the UN is to deal with world problems, so they should have the initial responsibility.

No, the real terrorists here are the Americans. Many people died in the recent spanish atrocity, but how many children did the American bombers kill in Iraq? How many innocent men and women have they shipped to concentration camp-like settings to be interrogated and held until they get the answers that they were looking for? Not all terrorists have to live in the middle east...

ok, since the UN isn't doing a good job of policing the world, the US should do it. I guess we better send some troops into North Korea and liberate them. Then we could start on the Democratic Republic of Congo, and then Ethiopia, and every other country with a problem in it as well.

you guys are missing the point. i am not saying that we should be the worlds organization for policing the world. I am saying that if the system is flawed, we cant just sit back until the problem escalates into something much worse than what it was when we first needed to go in. And you only prove my point that no matter what we do no one is happy. Your knight in shining armor, John Kerry, then went on critisizing President Bush saying that he was late again in going into Haiti and helping them out with a military force, but uses the forces in the other world against him. WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT? Make up your minds! You cant just look at what the president did and then take the offensive every single time. I dont have all the answers, but I know that the way things are with people pissed at everything that happens is a bunch of shit.

john kerry is not my night in shining armor, and just because i support him more than bush, doesn't mean i agree with all of his policies or every word that he says. I just think that we were a little too quick to go into things like Iraq, especially when the UN didnt think it necessary. And its not as if the united states could take on terrorism on its own. I support us helping other countries out, because that's just like a millionare giving a bum some money, its just that we should only be doing so much, and if the UN isn't doing their job, then we shouldn't just forget about them, but demand their support.
