personally i think israel is commiting the same atrocites that palesitianian suicide bombers do........ for example making impromptu raids into civilian areas and killing innocents......i can relate the palestian tactics for independence to the tactics used by americans in the revolutionary war.........

Oh man... I don't even want to get started on this topic. A very strong case can be made that the United State's support for Israel is the main reason of western resentment for the Arab world. The U.S. gives 5 billion dollars to Israel every year, and Israel has the fourth largest military in the world. The country the U.S. gives the second most money to (I believe) is Egypt. Why do we have some agreement with Egypt? So they don't attack Israel. It's really disgusting how badly the media has manipulated western citizens into believing that Palestinians are terrorists to the innocent Israelis. As of now Israel is errecting that huge wall in occupied territories (what a nice word for going into innocent civilians villages and taking over) bulldozing the fields of farmers, and basically doing whatever they please. All this is in defiance of the World Court. What else have they done recently, oh yea, they just went into Palestinian territory, raided a bank and took the money saying that it was because the money was being used as terrorist funds. They also took the tapes out of the cameras so noone really knows how they went about anything.
Both countries have contributed to the problems between the two, but it's disgusting how badly the Israel has manipulated the western media.
If you want to stop terrorism against the United States... one way we could help is to get the government to stop giving billions of dollars to Israel.

yea...... i think we would gain alot more respect in the middle east and with muslims all over the world if we denounced israel and made them accountable for their atrocities instead of looking the other way and supporting their regime........i think we could win the hearts of the ppl over if we sent some kind of publisized support to the palestinians

The day the US takes away Israel's tanks and attack helicopters is the day they go back to throwing rocks at each other. i just did a research paper for english on the arab-israeli conflict... it's very complex and one must study the biblical history as well as the the two wars between israelis and arabs in the 60's and 70's to even begin the situation in that region
the fact is though that both groups have legitamite claims to the same land and that is the main base of the conflict... the creation of israel causes most of the modern day violence

welll alot of teh media portrays the palestinians as the victims when in these cases they are clearly not. The media just wants people to feel sympathetic in some way so they take any side which is easier to make seem the victim.

i beg to differ.......if they showed the real shit they go through thered be a huge uproar to stop sending arms to israel and a huge call to put sanctions against their corrupt government.....yes the Israeli armed forces are tight as hell........but that doesnt condone the atrocities they do to innocent civilians

Nothing that the US does or doesnt do will stop this 4000 year old war. Its too entrenched into customs and beliefs of the people over there. With that reasoning, I think that it is better for the US to get out of that situation, but that is easier said than done after years and years of alliance and you cant honestly believe that they arent doing anything for the US over there. I am sure that it isnt a decision that Bush, the next president or even the next could make. Were just stuck into it.

yea eisenhower was the only pres to stand up to israel......when they decided to take over the suez eisy gave a ultimatdium that gave em like 72 hrs to withdraw or they'd have to deal with the US ENGlish and the fucking french(but theyd just surrender before the fighting started)
