Fat skis

Okay i have looked at every fat ski thread for like 2 month's and i still haven't got the answer.
i am 5.6 - 5.7
weight 125 - 130
want i ski i can ski pow hit jumps and ski just groomers with
if you can help me try and find a last years model or something so its less expensive
and what bindings to get.
Thanks guys hope you can help me.

volkl bridge. not really an awesome powder ski but gets it done.

kinda tough to kill it on backcountry and on the groomers with the same ski.

im not saying like racing shit but if its super hard out and i have the line anthems but their super soft on me so i maybe the lizzis will be right but could someone tell me what height?

I don't recommend lizzies as a all mountain fat ski, not because i don't like them but because they are somewhat short and have very low tips. To keep lizzies up in powder you have to lean back the entire time which is not the right way to ski. What your describing sounds more like Nordica Zeros (which were on Tramdock yesterday for like 230$) Sir Francis Bacons (if you like softer/ more playfull) or something like the Rossi S6 or K2 Kung Fujas. Its all personal preference and there are a lot of choices out there. I would recommend the Nordicas because they are super fun on jumps, i find Bacons to be to soft and Kung Fujas feel more like a park ski to me. Ive never ridden the S6 so couldn't tell you anything but i really liked the Steezes and they look like similar skis. But its whatever you have a preference for... these are just suggestions.

Try the Liberty Double Helix or regular Helix. Those are sick on bc jumps and rip up groomers as well.

they are the same.  A great all mountain ski.

I am in the same exact situation as you (same height and weight lol) and i pre-ordered some Moment NIght Trains.

These skis stuck out to me because they had everything i look for in a fat ski:
- rocker
- substantial waist width (123mm)
- early taper
- small turning radius to make sharper turns
- light weight
- sick graphic

I wouldn't get these as a one ski quiver necessarily (although it could definitely work, and that is what they are advertised as), but they would make a great combo with some park skis...

Indeed so true, or the atomic bent chetler's, some of the best skis out there. I loved both and they will rip it up everywhere on the hill
