Headwounds are terrible for bleeding, he was just trying to get pumped I guess. My coach said he couldn't play properly til he saw blood..so he would punch the concrete wall in the changeroom til his hand bled.

Yes while it may be dumb, Owen Schmitt hits himself on the head with his helmet all the time. I can remember him doing that all the way through college. I follow college recruiting a lot, and most of the D 1 prospect are pulling in 3.5+ GPAs while still working their ass off on the football field. You can not generalize them all under the category of Owen Schmitt.

It is hard as shit to play football and do school but the D1 prospects are not in the 3.5 gpa area and if they are they are not getting real degrees.

There are plenty of smart football players but for the most part they are pretty poor students which is understandable.

I am sometimes surprised by most of the players GPA. Go take a look around on Scout or Rivals and look at some of the top players GPAs.. Surprising

I'm pretty sure he was WV's fullback last year. If i'm right i just want you to know that when your that guy you will do whatever the fuck you want, when you want. He benches more than everyone in this thread weighs and can power clean a family sedan, with the family. I'm sure he'll do more ridiculous shit than that throughout his future career.

There are smart football players. What about the rhodes scholar kid last year? He had a choice between a scholarship at oxford or playing in the NFL.
