Replying to Jag35E on HMC?

Hey guys, I currently film with a Canon hf10

I plan on upgrading to the Panasonic HMC40 within the next 1.5 years.

I am looking into buying a 35mm DOF adapter and have taken a liking to the Jag35E (vibrating).

I am almost a 100% sure that this will fit onto my hf10 without any problems, but i will also want to use it when i get my HMC.

Will it fit onto an HMC or will i have to look into buying the jag35xl? and will that on fit onto an hf10?

i believe the hf10 has a 37mm thread if that helps
