", in China, gamers under the age of 18 will have difficulty playing online for the long hours required to farm any significant amounts. According to a CNBC news report[35], a new mandate by the Chinese government requires online games to have monitoring software for users younger than 18 with built-in warnings to stop and exercise after three continuous hours of play, and to stop playing after five hours. Gamers must wait a minimum of five hours before returning to gameplay, or the system will not reset. Minors who violate this new mandate may be required to attend an Internet Addiction Clinic if they don't reform. Also, to play online, gamers will be required "to register with a real name and ID card number so that the system knows if they are under 18 or not"[36].

If only they had the same restrictions on the imports in canada.

 There are two asian twins in my class whos soul purpose in life is to play video and computer games. It is to the point where they have been in physical fights with their parents about it. They have no other skills in life than what they can do with a keyboard and a joystick, needless to say they dont ski.

Its cool if you play video games for fun, but when your life revolves around it and everything else suffers thats not cool

3 hours of continuous play isn't too bad, but there are days when i've played for twice that long because there really isn't much else to do. i understand the logic behind this, i just don't agree with how it's implemented.

i play cod4 on xbox live like once or twice per week on the weekends but when i play its normally from like 10pm-2 or 3, just because its the weekend and i enjoy myself doing it with all the free time. when cod m2 w2 comes out, my friends and i are going to the midnight release, getting the game, then going home and playing for prolly 24 hours straight or more. + food breaks and peeing and stuff. this isnt ski season or id be snowboarding tho

only playing like that for the first day or so?

shit i play duty from 7-midnight or later every day. still.  as in i'm still playing shitty WAW even though i am completely sick of it.  but my squad does do some serious work...
