Who else thinks this situation is bull-shit for the Rockies fans. The Braves who are 2 games behind couldn't possibly have an easier schedule. Im getting pissed on ESPNs forum because those cats think that the Braves are actually a better team than the Rocks, are you fucking kidding me. The only reason your rock hard right now is because you've won 7 games in a row vs teams like the mets, nationals, and marlins. Im sticking my big metaphorical finger up in the air at you Brave fans. You will get intialted in the playoffs if you make it.

I think its hilarious that john kruk and every other espn analyst are constantly riding the braves' dick. Everyone always counts the rockies out, i'm sure we still would have been called a fluke if we had won the world series in '07.

dude, i live in WA state....  the state that is the king of Sports Chokes.  Mariners win 116 games, lose like first round of the playoffs.  Mariners win enough games to get into the playoffs if they go even 50-50 for the rest of the season, they proceed to lose 90% of their remaining games.

then there is the Seahawks, FINALLY make it to the Super Bowl.  their game plan has been working, and would most likely have worked well against PIttsburgh.  what do they do....  THEY CHANGE IT!!!!

then they go and sell our basketball team.....

hey, at least the Sounder FC team is doing pretty damn good in MLS right now.

i lold at the MLS part. And i believe the rockies will stay strong and make the playoffs. ESPN can suck a long one cause they for some reason despise Denver sports. Real they hired Van Gundy to announce the playoff series between the Nuggets and Lakers. Guess whos the Lakers regular season commentator, fucking Van Gundy FML.

i realize that the MLS is fucking stupid...  but still, its something Seattle is somehow winning in, it means we have something to be somewhat proud of sports wise.

and van gundy is a fat sack of shit that nuthugs the lakers all the time.  it was like Kobe was God or something.

Hey man, it took the Mariners 18 years to get to the playoffs. Hell, it took 14 years to get a winning season. Still no AL title (boned by the Yankees two out of 4 times in the playoffs; that blows), and a 101 loss season last year (not to mention a 0-12 college football team, a shitty seahawks team, and, for better or worse, the move of the sonics), so I can empathize with you on that shit.

If ichiro were on the yankees, all espn and other cunt-related yankee/redsox/cowboys loving media outlet would gush about him all the time. Speaking of which, CC sabathia is AMAZING (not).

yea thats why till 07 no one in Denver gave a shit about the Rockies becasue theyve never even been in the playoffs before lol. And this year we come from having one of the worst records in baseball with hurdle being our manager, to jim tracy making us one of the best teams. Im pretty scepticale about them making the playoffs but after this season i feel like the really deserve it. I really just wished that the braves would die haha.....jk, but if some kidnapper wants to go kidnap chipperjones for the rest of the season, feel free to do so.......

PS- Ive been watching waaay to much Its always Sunny In Philidelphia if you can hint at my rethoric in my post ha

I know for the most part, the MLS is a joke.  Don't wanna come off as a dick here but have you been to one of those Sounders games? Qwest field is pretty rockin during those games.  Seattle is probably one of the only cities in the MLS that has really embraced their team.  Definitely the loss of the Sonics has helped raise attendance, but still you gotta give Seattle some respect for supporting the Sounders like they have.

^ sorry got a little off topic.  But ya the NL wildcard race is pretty gay.  "America's Team" that flops in the playoffs every time they go is gonna make it this year, while the Rockies will most likely be stuck at home watching.  Personally I'd rather see the Braves go, as I'm a St. Louis Cardinals fan.  Definitely happy the Giant's aren't goin to the playoffs with Lincecum, Johnson, Zito, Cain and Penny in there.

it has something to do with the Retina burning neon green that is their uniform i think.  they feel, if as many people show up to Qwest field (which is fucking loud as shit) and everyone wears that neon, they will blind all those who are not used to it and thus, the Sounders will win.

i know nothing about soccer other than it looks fucking hard to play.  i DO know however that Seattle's obsession with the bright Neon has now moved on to the Seahawks....  im serious, i think they are trying to blind people (im from Bellingham)

second, the yankees always fucking choke in the playoffs as of the last couple years, so, im not too worried.  CC Sabathia will have a heart attack or some shit, Arod will start trying to make out with Madonna again, and Mark Texeira will hit a drought again.

yeah, the Mariners have their good days, but they always fuck it up in the end.  116 wins, dont make it past the first round that year...  the next year, they dont make the playoffs. then they have 101 losses in a season.  they just are always a disappointment after a great buildup.

like, beginning of this season, they were first in the west...  then they just fall on their face for 2 months and never recover.

No, not at all. Everyone thats not a fan of the soxs, pats, or celtics hates them. Trust me when i say that boston fans are the worst. And its doubtful that Atlanta will win, Were three games up and all we have to do is win three more games. Not to mention that the Dodgers just got killed by the nationals and who do we play next, the dodgers, who does atl play next, the nationals. Plus the rocks are 3gb behind LA and im praying that the Padres sweep them so we can be NL West champions, highly unlikely but it would be dope.

NL wild card and AL central are the only races right now, its sweet because its the only time the twins are ever on espn (other than joe mauer highlights) hopefully the twins can take these last two from the tigers and make the series even with 3 games left.

I really want the rockies to make it, i hate the braves, and people can't go saying "well rockies hit better in colorado because of the thin air and the balls are harder due to dry air" since 2002? (correct me if im wrong) the balls are stored in a humidifier to make them the same weight as every other ball park and now their stats are the same. Go rockies, and tulowitzki.
