Salomon Vs. Fulltilt

Alright guys i ski 100% park and i my foots done growing so i finally get to buy a pair of boots instead of leasing... I ski about 60% rails and 40% jumps but im not going huge on the jumps but anyways, i am trying to decide between this years Salomon SPK and this years Fulltilt Booter or Hotdogger... now the thing is my foot is slightly wider than average and i know that Fulltilts run somewhat narrow and Salomons run slightly wide but i work at a ski shop so i could easily get them custom formed and all that fancy stuff but will it really be to narrow still?... Id also like to know the Pros, Cons, Differences, Similarities, What you liked, what you hated, ect.... I want to know EVERYTHING about these boots cause i want to make sure my decision is the right one

I love my FT booters, but I had to try them on for a while to know. There's really no way around it.

haha ya that must have been urs haha small world... dont worry i only had them on for like 1 minute and then the manager was like hey what are u doing with that customers boot haha, and my feet dont smell so ya... Ya come in anytime though and someone can deffinatley help u out with something, im the shortest and yougest lookin one there so im not hard to find if ur lookin for me

quick question... is the hotdogger or the booter wider?... im not nesecarily talking about the shell but doesnt the liner of the booter pack out easier and isnt it thinner... and fulltilt told me themselves that the hotdogers are more spacious and have a more comfortably heel... so what is the deal between these 2 width wise?

The liner is indeed slightly thinner.  it really only is about a 1mm difference though.

The liner on the booter is waayyyy thinner. I have a really high volume foot, and I can't even buckle any of the FT boots except for the booter. It just has more room inside, so to answer your question, YA. It fits a lot wider. I don't know about this 1mm stuff, I'd say its a lot more than that, because it's VERY noticeable.

Ok so i emailed Full Tilt and this is wahat they said:

The Booter and Hot Dogger are the same width. They both have the 2mm extra width with the liner being thinner on the forefoot sides. The Booter may feel wider because it has the performer liner and is made out of softer material. At first the Booter may be more comfy but in the long run the Hot Dogger is the higher end boot.

How does that work out... if 1 boot is wider at first nd 1 is thinner than how will the thinner one end up feeling better?

I'm not trying to say that the booter is going to "feel better". It just has a lot more room inside of it because of the thinner liner. And the "thin liner" is thick enough, and perfectly fine. It's softer than the thicker one on the hotdogger, and it just feels good. What it comes down to, is get the boot that fits. They are both stellar boots.

Also

Thinner does not equal less comfort, its not like a couch or something.
