and yes i realize you don't normally buy 20 gallons at a time

you americans are weird using gallons

ok now were on the same page

1 litre in canada of gas = around 90 cents

just ran a quick google and it came up with water being 1litre = $1

sooo deff not 4x, but stil more than gas

see the prolbem is, i had weed but it was really really small amount, so therefor i didnt burn it and just saved it, now i cant do shit tomorrow cause im supposed to be sick and going to the doctors or some gay shit like that so. unfortunate events

first sorry for not clarifying. i was basing this off a 16 ounce bottle at 1.25(probably from a gas station.

heres the math.  1.25$/16 oz * 8 oz/1 cup *2 cups/ 1 pint * 2 pints/1 qrt * 4 qrt/1 gal = 10 dollars a gallon

10 $/ 2.5$ = 4

obviously if you guy water in bulk you can get it for cheap.  I think you can get a gallon of distilled water for like a 2 or 3 bucks.

haha but seriously i wasn't trying to make a point or anything against bottle water. i was just doing my homework and i thought it was kinda surprising.

At Stop and Shop in my town, you can buy a 24 pack of Poland Spring on sale for 3.99. 24 bottles x 16 ounces per bottle = 384 ounces / 128 ounces per gallon = 3 gallons for $4.23 (including tax) or 1.41 per gallon. Gas around here is about $2.60 per gallon.

But then again you're talking about a 16oz bottle for 1.25 at a gas station, so I guess you're right.

a gallon of giant eagle distilled water is $.85 at the giant eagle i work at...sooo all in all it's more like gas is 4x more expensive than water.

Think that is bad? It takes 1 gallon of gas PER BOTTLE (1 liter) of Fiji water to get here to the United States.
