good post skiMT. yeah the armadas are the best skis ever! but i never skiied them. dont make judgement on skis you have never tried. personally, i think that armada's ski about as well as a pair of 190cm straight skis, i didnt think they felt very respinsive at all.

wth 1080z r not up there, but i ehard they rode nice not that i have ridden them, i think if your not that hardcore there isnt much point getting armadas

AR5's shred everywhere the park, through the crud, the groomers all that crap they even seem to jam through the moguls. I have only been able to ski a couple inches of pow though. So I am not sure how they would do in a substantial amount of powy. But yes they are dope.

justo84 has established that he can't turn properly on groomers :) I think they rip man. No, they may not have a lazy sidecut but still plenty, and in fact they are very responsive. and when I responsive, I mean pop and camber

Yeah, the ar5 is a nice ride. My only complaint is that it's damn heavy so you really have to set your spins faster. It's super stiff though so no tail wash and it pops really hard.

i skied the ar5 176. and it wasnt stiff at all. the ski was badass for buttering and what not only cuz the tails are flexy. my pe's are much stiffer and more stable.

skierguy48... where is it that you are paying retail? anyway, the skis are NOT heavy, it is probably the look bindings that weigh them down. in general, they are an amazing ski, just dont hold up super well
