Replying to does age really matter??

I dont know if this has been posted before, but there have been so many comments about like 'I'm only 12!' or 'Holy shit, he's only 13!', but then theres the other side we people comment and dont really give a shit about people's age... personally I dont really care, its cool if they are young, but its not a huge deal, i guess im just seeking some other people's opinions about if you think age matters when it comes to skiing.
