i totally agree with you man, i don´t get how they can still mess up with their customers and lie about dates after what happen last year... i was thinkin' about gettin saga this year, but this makes me wonder once again what is goin on with them. its not fun.

In the matter of 4 days an amazing amount of support has turned ugly due to the fact that we have not released the line yet. If you have a problem with the way we are doing things then that is fine, voice your opinion, it is when we get called “lazy” or “irresponsible” that really strikes a deep chord with me. If you are saying such things, chances are you’ve never run your own business or know anything about them for that matter, we work day in and day out to make it all work. All that aside, I am not arguing the fact that we previously said Sept 1st was when it was dropping but there are reasons for the things we do, every action and decision has a reason. I am simply standing up for something that the other boys and I have made our lives and that is producing this brand and being different from the rest. Just know that we are more hungry to drop the line than anyone, it’s labor day weekend go have fun and check back on Monday. A full suit this year is $400, better quality, better price.

really? i don't understand why you would stop supporting a company just because pre orders might happen during the second or third week of September rather than the 1st. the idea of not buying saga this year entirely on the principle that they didn't drop their line by September 1st is just ridiculous.

100% agree with Saga - even though I admit that i felt disapointment when saga didnt release the line on the first (I think most of us did anyway so).

None of this ruined my hype

is not just about this, is also what happend last year plus this... i think saga stuff is sick and i would reccommend it, but i do have my own business and i understand that if i give a date about anything i have to be sure i can respond to that or customers can just start to complain just like what happend now. I think is really good that they explained what happend, it needs to be done when so much people are waiting and expectations are really important in any business. i hope that this year everything goes good for them and i probably will be spending my money on saga, and thats why i thought that maybe they needed to explain stuff, cause my 400 dollars could go somewhere else if they didn't.

I am still wondering what the regular non easter egg colored ones look like....

So happy to see a response. That proves to me why Saga is such a legit company worthy of my support. A bunch of hard-working people doing this for the right reasons. That explanation is exactly what I was hoping to see.

I am looking forward to seeing the new line once I'm settled in at university finally! A new jacket at a lovely new price? Sounds lovely.


As for the guy above asking why everyone got kinda un-stoked about it not being out on the 1st is because that was the initial time for the release, and it came and went without a response. As soon as the entry was posted it's all cool again. I can chill and wait. And let the excitement build up again.

They are right, 99% of us have never ran our own business, but the fact of the matter is that they are still stuck in their old ways of saying one thing and doing another.When you say you are going to do something, then do it, that is part of being a successful company. You can not keep using this excuse of being such a "legit" small company that works so hard. Maybe next time, don't commit to a certain date. I am biased because I was one who was screwed last year in waiting what seemed like an eternity to get my pants after multiple shipping dates being pushed back.  Is this a foreshadow for another season of pushing those dates back?

i orderd some tee's and stickers this summer didnt get charged import taxes, think i paid $15 to UK. hopefuly jacket/pant cant be more than $50 so still cheap for me in the UK :)

I bought 2 sticker packs and three tees a month ago, it came to 100$ with shipping. when I got it they had written that the value was 20$ so I didn't get taxes, such a nice thing to do!

Can't wait to see what goodies they got for us this winter!

Saga's webshop for the summer was powered by Paypal so yes, and International shipping was 15 dollars.

lol as much as id love to see the line drop 12 am wha ever time zone saga is in i doubt it will happen after the previous date screwups there really cant be a estimated time haha

It's still only 10:31 out here in pacific time. But regardless I don't expect and don't care whether it drops until 11:59 Alaska time tomorrow. It's early. The season isn't here yet and won't be for a while. Living in residence is entertaining for the moment woooooooooo.
