How to curve wood

alright guys im trying to build a homemade longboard deck, im would like to get this started as soon as possible but i still havent figured out how to curve wood without jigs. do any of you newschoolers now how to do it?
here is the curving im speaking of:

you need a press or jig...i made one out of wood and scrap stainless steel that bolts together to shape the wood.

i dont have any pics, and unless you have access to steel, mine wouldnt be too easy or cheap to make, but go to silverfishlongboarding....they have oodles about building boards and making presses:

well if you masturbate in a sideways-J type motion, im sure it will curve your wood over time

Hahah lol

But really, get like a piece of compressed wood and cut the edge to the shape of the board, soak the wood you're using and nail it to the compressed wood, (if you cant nail it it wont work)
