Do I Need Anything Else?

ok NS i am buying some computer parts and then assembling them.

my goal is to create a video editing computer

this is what i have decided on but before i buy i want to make sure that i dont need anything else

will this be fast enough?


and will sony Vegas Pro Platinum take advantage of the Duo processor?

You should probably post your graphics card too, because if you need that setup you'll be doing some pretty heavy stuff and will need some serious power on the graphics end of things.

What kind of editing are you doing exactly? This thing is a beast.

well it seems with the type of computer you're running you should not use vegas. at least run adobe premier pro cs4 and that entire studio. (cs4 studio or w/e). vegas IMO is far from good. use premier please

vegas pro doesnt give a graphics card requirement...this should be sufficient and, your monitor isnt crazy big...and Im going to suggest running two monitors you wont regret it

in my experience 22"-24" is the sweet spot for a single monitor editing set up.

9500 is good but old. I just got an ATI 4850, get that, $140.

What about a power supply? I didn't see that.
