Replying to New to freeski

I'm new to freestyle and I have a few questions. I'm 16 and live in the UK and my home slope is a dryslope (Snowflex stuff). I have saved for the past year and got a set up of freestyle gear (SPK pro's and a twin tip. But lately I've been worrying about going to the freestyle session. Its the fact that I have this gear and I've never hit a jump or rail, so when I imensly fail my first try will I get laughed at esspecially because I have freestyle gear? Also what's the best way to start off?
