how was that sick? jesus christ that was terrible. oh wow sickest thing was a 180 on, 180 off an urban. honestly, cool filming is not going to make up for the severe lack of fucking talent. that was the worst snowboard trailer ive seen in a long ass time.

get off the creativity dick. that was just plain bad. if it was AM, forgivable. if not... god have mercy on their snowboard careers.

calm down there jockbro. it was just a teaser/behindthescenes/ad vid for transworld's shoot out video. you can get it for 5 bucks on itunes. basically it was like a team version of joss, except they all filmed at different mtns. rome's killer segment won by a long shot. actualy, the burton segment got 2nd and was just women and it  was really cool and uber creative.

Proof of why judging became about spinning and gymnastics rather than creativity...a lot of that stuff looked like mandatory stick otherwise you'd get really really fucked up...

Yes, given those features he could have done much better. Hell, half of newschoolers could have done better.

I mean, they built a damn jump and nobody even took it to the landing. Besides the one 180. It was like, a 40 foot jump. the jumps through the boxes were kinda cool, but nothing was done that impressed me at all. The rest of the features were just kinda stupid to begin with.

uhh... if you got fucked up on any of those features... you deserve it. straight airs are not hard on 10ft. jumps regardless if its in a dumpster or not.

There was a few nice shots but it's crazy how the snowboarders can still enjoy a straight air with a grab. I agree that it's part of creativity but given those features, I can see so many snowboarders doing those tricks. What I like about ski movies is usually you get the "I could never do that shit" feeling when you watch it. But any decent snowboarder must have felt like he was able to do most of those tricks easily. In terms of snowboard, I'd rather see some Travis Rice stuff and jibbing from the Technine trick. Those are in my opinion pretty fucking creative and also at a crazy level.

1. Stop dissing the way he talks. LNP is French Canadian. I'm personally suprised he can speak english so well.
2. Some of the feature in their were sick, way more creative than any of the features done in skiing.
3. LNP may not be pulling 1080s and crazy doubles but he sure as fuck has more style than half of the kids on this site and in the snowboard world. Example...

4. Who gives a shit how he dresses? He wears what he wants to wear and its his style. All the kids saying that everyone who dresses like him or the Ashbury guys are idiots. People do it because its something different and fun. No body complained when skiing switched from jackets and pants that fit to oversize t-shirts and massive pants.

the point is that if you see something that obviously alot of snowboarders/skateboarders get hyped on why do you need to bash it? its not taking anything away from your riding. if it isnt your thing thats fine, then you probably dont need to post in the thread about it. just take your anger and go huck a double or something, jesus.

im not sure why you keep talking about doubles... Tim is not a double man himself... but i do understand where he was comming from. I'm not sure I saw anything over a 3 thrown. not to mention that every other shot was a straight air grab.

Those features were pretty well built... the jump in particular and the double container set-up both looked real sick. I'm not sure why they couldnt at least make us think they did some cooler tricks on those set-ups.

Stop trying to make things 2 sided... they are not. Tim is not against snowboarding. Just like a lot of other people including myself, I get really stoked on good riding with creative shit... (see: Standard films and FODT teaser) but there's no reason why we have to pretend this shit was cool.

First of all, he knows exactly what he's talking about. You are talking out of your ass because you don't know who you are referring to.

I don't care about his clothes. obviously that shouldn't be an issue.

The edit above, where the other kid claims that this LNP or whoever "kills it", is a perfect example. He does a bunch of stupid mini shred that looks like shit, a bunch of no grab 3s that look like shit, and then for the rest of the edit about 50 percent of the shots look good at all. Not referring to the size, or the trick, just how it looks. which is shitty. On top of that, he's completely shown up by everyone else who is in that edit, completely overshadowing anything he does that might be cool.

fuck all the haters in this thread. i thoroughly enjoyed that!

it was really fun to watch those tricks on setups like that. you get a different feeling from watching small flowing stuff on unique setups, opposed to double grabbed double corks or whatever the fuck they "should" have been throwing on the same old step up jump that'll be in every movie this fall.

whoever the first guy was that responded with strong negativity is really ignorant.

thats how he enjoys snowboarding. it's a different approach to the sport, and they probably don't really care what any of you think about it. hating on variety and a sport moving away from a one tracked mind is pretty silly. their clothing choice really isn't any more ridiculous then what magoon wears or any other technine riders. theres no correct way to snowboard.

That was a boring and shitty edit, and his segment that was posted on the last page was barely any better... I couldn't even make it through the whole thing. Everyone is screaming style, but I see none of it. And that's not even to say that gypsy / tight style cant look good, because it can look awesome when done with real style.
