the rockies had a miraculous run for the pennant in which they had playoff game for the playoffs and then they went through phili and arizona in 7 games. Boston only beat us cause during our 10 day break Manny and Poppy decided to take roids, jk, but it was the break. Boston would of been samshed on if it wasnt for the break.

hahahahah i cant believe you clowns are so in denial that youre actually blaming the break. boston was the way better team period. we didnt go 96-66 that year by being mediocre. you rockie fans dont realize that your team was extraordinarily mediocre that year, and you only got in the playoffs by matt holliday not even touching home plate. then you got a little streak of luck and everything fell in place; your team is not actually that good. then the sox showd you whos the better team. 4-0 bitches

sorry the NL is a joke and the AL is not and we had to play the indians who were really good that year

I hope the rockies edge out san francisco for the wild card.

at least the mariners aren't the worst team in baseball like they were last year. We're starting to get a bit too far back in the wild card (and too far in the division) but I'm keeping up a little hope for a big run, especially with somebody like felix hernandez getting it done; he's a monster on the mound.

Yeah Boston was the better team, there is no denying that because you are right, the NL has unfortunately been a joke for a while. But the Rocks were riding an adrenaline high all through the last part of the season and the playoffs. Had they not had to take a ten day break, I think they would have rode that high all the way to a game 6 or 7, if not the win.

i cant deny what youre saying either. i think the sox still woulda won, cause in 07 the sox were flat out ridiculous good. i can def see the rocks winning a few games if they didnt cool off, but i still think the sox woulda won. the 07 sox were nuts

the AL collectively as a whole, and their playoff teams, are way better than the NL. if the NL has one powerhouse that lets say is a 100, but the rest of the teams are a 20, and he AL teams are all 80, he NL is gonna win he world series.... but guess what the AL is still better. and to the person who said dont bring up the allstar game... youre retarded. its a much better gauge than world series victories for determining the better league

Phils beat the shit out of the rockies yesterday, 7-0....fuck those faggots!

lets talk about the phils. cliff lee tearin shit up. 5 game lead in our division, 3rd in the whole NL, only 6 games behind LA to take first. rockies in the series? please. gonna have to beat the phils which I promise will not happen. im smelling ANOTHER world series victory this year. back to back. when we get on a run we're unstoppable...they just need to put jamie moyer in the pen and stop this starting bullshit, dude gives up too many hits as a lead off.
