but gotta admit if you're gonna make a pulled pork sandwhich, you guys aren't as picky about the bread as us northerners. i can't stand southern bread, ahaha.

Yeah, we've got some weird bread down here, very doughy. I will admit though, I do love a good cannoli and some good deep dish pizza, we don't have that down here.

Driving through Buffalo a person may think that it is a dull grey blip on the map, but stay and hang out for a week and have person show you around and you will see why people still live here. its a very fun place with lots of great people and good fun. any newschoolers find yourself in Buffalo ill gladly let you stay over and show you around

mad hot girls. they're tourist towns too ie( lake george, saratoga) always foreigners come here to work also.

but as for girls, i would say majority are very cute. it's a broad generalization but yeah, i find alot of girls around here attractive.

Seth has survived avalanches, a helicopter crash, and miles of vertical on huge Alaskan faces. He is the oldest member of the K2 Factory Team, who are all big name veterans. Lived in Vail, CO in his Middle and High School years racing for Ski Club Vail. He is best known for throwing back and sideflips off massive cliffs and his ability to stomp landings from extreme heights

Doug Coombs is from MA, and if there is one person you should respect in the industry, its him.  I think its fair to say that AK heliskiing would not be at its current level without him, not to mention everything else he has contributed.

Other than that, the EC is baller as hell

Haha I live in Vermont and I have people who live on my street who grow their own pot. The skiing is chill but a lot of the people are way too weird. Overall the East Coast is a sick place to live.

My quick opinion of the East

Mass (my home state) - pretty much everyone jizzes all over boston sports teams, everyone no matter what their interests in in love with one of the boston teams.  IT can get somewhat annoying at times.  Boston is a sick city with a ton to do.  I live in the suburbs and in the city (parents are divorced) so its nice to have a mix of both.  Suburbs, are your typical suburbs with a little less strip malls than the rest of the country I have been to.  There are a lot of old historic towns with a lot of history and local places.  People in this area are pretty high stressed and less open with others compares to other parts of the city.  A lot of people are pretty serious about their work and so and so, btu a lot still like to have a fun time. As much as I rag on MA I can somewhat see myself living here sometime much later on, although for now I want to get the hell out of here.

Vermont - The generilization is somehwta true, vermont has a good amount of hippies.The best Skiing in the Notheast, each resort with a different theme and vibe.  Killington with the big resort, full of Mass people and New Yorkers, then Jay Peak with their own ruggedness.  A lot of sick places and things to do year round.  Haven't been to BUrlington much, so I can't ellaborate on that.

New Hampshire - Much less hippies than vermont.  Ski resorts are as good, since they recieve much less snow, but still fun.  The presidential range is sick and provids for some outstanding hiking.  The Lakes region is a ton of fun, always something fun going on around winnepesaukee.  More developed than vermont.

Maine - The Most rurual of them all, some nice lakes and good skiing at Sugarloaf and Sunday River.  The area along the ocean is pretty sick.  But once you get into northern maine there is abosolutely fucking nothing

Rhode Island - My least favorite New England state.  Just kidn of shitty in my opinion, but I have had a biased opinion my whole life.  Providence has some nice places, btu besides that, I am not a big fan of the state.

Connecticut -  There are plenty of the rich preppy  areas that CT has a rep for, but also they have their fair amount of shitty parts, such as a lot of New Haven.

Maryland (not New England but I like it) - The only state south of Mass I can see myself living.  For some reason I really like it down there.  Both DC and Baltimore have really crappy parts, but they also have really nice parts.

New England is nice, I would rather live here than most other places in the US, but now I want to get the hell out of here and go out west for college, and hopefully stay there.

dude, you have no idea what you are talking about.  im from the east coast and you couldnt be more wrong.  #1 myself, all my friends, and the majority of kids on the east coast know what hyphy means, and noone i know say wicked, most people either say sick or cool.  secondly, guidos are only on the jersey shore and staten island, not the entire east coast.  and as far as living here, there is more to do here than being stuck in the colorado mountains or something.  i mean the skiing is obviously not as good, but as far as city life and entertainment, the east coast has some of the best cities for that like NYC, boston, Philadelphia, etc, i can keep going on.  so dont say stuff if you dont know what you're talking about.

Well where I am (Long Island), the summers are hot and humid, the winters are icy and freezing (I wear a hat, big coat and gloves to school and am still cold in the morning), the people suck ass, but the scenery is pretty nice.  There are some pretty awesome beaches like 45 minutes away, Montauk (2 hours east) is sick, but there isn't much to do right where I live. 

New York City is dirty and disgusting and filled with unhappy people.  Don't go there. 

Vermont is gorgeous and the people are pretty nice, there is a lot to do in Manchester in the summer.

From what I've seen of Maine, it's a nice place. 

New Jersey is the tollbooth capital of the world, half of it smells because it's all swampland, and the Jersey Shore is absolutely permeated with fucking guidos.

and there can be both.  I skied in a foot of fresh pow sitting on top of sheet ice...the absolute weirdest feeling ever.  You'd float, and then at the bottom of your turn you'd hit the bottom and it would be like WHACK and you'd get whipped and then you'd do it all over again on the next turn.  Skiing the east is....fucking annoying, let's face it.

East Coast has shit fucking produce.  It is picked before it's ripened, then sent over there, hoping it will be ripe by the time it arrives.  I stop at a fruit stand two miles down the road from me and can get Fruit picked earlier in the morning.  I can even go to Costco get a flat of Nectarines that were picked the day before.  California is fucking amazing, there are so many different industries you can enter.  Technology, agriculture, engineering, construction, etc.  Any career on the East can be found in the West, but the West has even more other career options.  West FTW.

ya this is a pretty good way to explain the whole culture and what not.  the skiing isnt that bad obviously no pow or huge lines but the range of skill is everything from shitty people to really good skiers, lots of great park skiers come out of the east coast jibbin and urbans is real popular amongst freestyle skiers around here, skiing wise there are regualr lines and trails and some trees but really nothing comparable to the west. im not gonna shit on the east coast cause it has a shitload to offer but i doubt anyone from one of the big resorts out west could appreciate the little things on mountains in nh, vt, etc.

don't hate on RI unless you really know it.   Its small, but has so many miles of coastline that it feels a lot bigger.  There are some pretty areas to go along with the good/bad parts of providence and its suburbs.  If you like to surf, fish, or sail, its the place to be.  Ski?  not so much, but NH is a straight shot north.

we produce a ton of the countries blueberries right in NJ. And strawberries here too. I'd had some delicious strawberries from the grocery store. I've also had fresh strawberries that were delicious but very different. I've also had grapefruits in florida from a farmers market that were just as good as the grapefruits we get here in NY

I live in Jersey, been to Vermont, NH, NY, PA, Virgina, South Carolina, etc. And it's all really the people who your with. Some people are douchebags, but all in all people arn't bad. It seems East Coasters are a little bit more high-strung then people on the West Coast.

one of the best places to live.  tons of shit to do in the winter with all the ski mountains, and during the summer there are so makey lakes everywhere and the hot chicks that come to visit.

Yes I am the idiot, even though I live in the only place in the world where over 360 different fruits and vegetables can be grown successfully on the same plot of land.  I live in the world's bread basket, I do not know what I am talking about, I cannot drive a mile and get over 20 different fruits and vegetables picked this morning.  One of the world's largest strawberry farms isn't right near me (Driscoll's).  All the oranges you eat come right from where I live, if you eat Florida oranges you are a fucking idiot. Almost all tree fruit you eat comes from where I live.  Technology and agriculture are the two largest industries in California.  Produce here is sent around the world, we supply.  California has a GDP of 13%, more than any other state in the U.S. and is larger than all but eight countries.  My county was #1 in agricultural sales in the U.S. at: $2.759 Billion in sales.  I think that's saying something, especially when the surrounding counties were 2, 3, and 4 on the list.  Yes, four of the top five counties in U.S. agricultural sales in the U.S. all in the same valley and all within an hours drive of me.  I am the idiot, aren't I?

That's not the only reason I am proud of my state, haha.  We are a leader in technology, tell me no one cares about technology, we are a leader in film, tell me no one cares about film.  Agriculture, technology, and film have all had an effect on you.  If those three were to be taken away from the world I am sure you would care.  I do not live on a farm.  I don't ever plan on living on a farm either.  Don't be a dumbass.
