Replying to Question on center mounting

If I'm looking at a symmetrical ski, and I still want all mountain performance, will center mounting decrease it's performance? I know it will be better in the park, but are there any consequences to riding groomers and trees etc. I was looking at the atomic punx. I know it is a very flexy ski and it is the right graphic and everything for me, but I've read reviews and it sounds like it would be an acceptable choice for riding some groomers. Thanks
