I don't think you get it.

While I do enjoy using macintosh software on my macbook pro, and it blows the shit out of trying to figure out what vista is doing to itself, that is not the main reason I am a fan of apple. The reason I am a fan of apple, and will continue to buy their products is because when something goes wrong with my computer / ipod / other hardware, it takes 35 minutes to get fixed, not the 2 plus weeks people often experience with many other computer manufactures.

So say one of my disk drives decides to shit a brick one week before finals, a time where I very much need access to my computer, I set up an apt at the apple store for some time latter that day, head over, and in 20-60 min I am walking out with my computer working like the day I got it. If I had a dell computer I would still be sitting on the phone trying to talk to a person.

that is why I am an "apple/mac lover"

they may have a good warranty program, but to me it is not worth the extra $700 it would cost me. The specs on my netbook are slightly lower then the macbooks, but the cost is unbeatable. If it were to break, i could get a new one and still be $400 under the lowest possible cost for a new macbook.

That being said it would now have to be a hardware problem, not viruses, because of the OS, so that cuts out a huge portions of why PCs break down

I have a dell, i hate the scree (can see the pixels), i hate the case, i hate the web came, and hate the micro touch pad.

Im super stoked to have a comp but Mac are just so well constructed. im not sure if there german but they like a nice mercades compared to my kia sportage pos.
