they see me trollin'. They hatin'....
Thanks for several paragraphs that said absolutely nothing about anything about nobody. Velvet Underground were quite angsty for their day, thankyouverymuch. I am very familiar with many of the "kooky" bands at the time - most angsty of which I'd say early electronica Jake Holmes bootlegs, but Velvet live '66 with the Exploding Plastic Inevitable is pretty damn angsty in my book. Real angst - not teenage Sex Pistols/Joy Division angst. I hate hipsters because they stole my culture and called it original; stole my favorite bands and started being elitist faggots - yes, I used the word because that's how much they anger me; started wearing my clothes, my glasses, eating my food and riding my fucking bikes and had the nerve to call themselves "original".
Yes, blah blah blah emo. I could care less about Joy Division. But look how you react. They're all just bands. Just 'cause you know about them doesn't make you cool. But that's the hipster way.
Music - not so much.
Culture I mean I grew up in Saudi Arabia - Riyadh - and Italy, collecting old cds adn riding road bikes to school. Clothing, i won't get into that, but I will direct you to a number of websites that I'll pm you. Basically, I hate the trend. That's all it is. there's no "oh fark hipsters fo life" and shit like that. They all just happened to stumble into it at one point or another and decided to be complete douchebags. At least, that's SLC.
i'm not really familiar with what appears to be this wholly american concept of pigeon-holing whole demographics, based entirely on what clothes they wear or what music they listen to, and saying you hate that entire demographic, but what i can say is that you all sound fucking lame.
you guys sound like a bunch of 12 year old mean girls wannabes. grow up.
